Thinking about a remodel, addition, outdoor building/structure, or a new home? Let us help you through the process. We would start with our Design Guide. The Design Guide and your ideas will help us create what we hope will be your perfect home.
Once you have finished your Design Guide, you will send us any pictures, drawings, or doodles to review. Once we receive all your info, we will sit down and come up with what we call a Review Plan Set. It will consist of rough floor and elevation drawings just to make sure we are going down the right path.
By now, you have had a chance to look over your Review Plan Set. At this point we will make any changes that have been discussed and produce one last plan set that we call the Final Preliminary Plan Set (foundation, floor, and elevation plans). This set should reflect what you were envisioning with some minor changes.
Once you approve of the preliminary plans, we will make any corrections that need to be addressed and start the final documents (detailed foundation, floor, and roof plans with 2D and 3D elevations). We will pay close attention to your vision and specify any special notes so you or your builder can quickly navigate through your plans (there’s nothing worse than having to guess what we were thinking). Once your final plans are produced, we will email you or a print shop a PDF of your documents. Upon review, sometimes there are revisions needed due to codes, lot conditions, and stuff we can’t see. Be assured, we will make a plan revision to keep your project moving. If you, your builder, or code official find an error, we will make the appropriate adjustments (we are human).
